Why should we video our wedding when we already plan on having a photographer?

What kind of attire will you wear at our wedding and will you blend in?

Lucas Smith Wedding Film videographers wear all black attire specifically purposed to identify them as a videographer, and to blend in with the typical traditional wedding colors of black and white. photographers and videographers usually wear black only so that they do not look like the groomsmen.

Will the filming my wedding be a distraction to the ceremony?

We record wedding ceremonies unobtrusively and with solemn respect for the occasion, using no lights and very subtle movement.

What kind of microphones will you use?

We use wireless microphones for both the bride and the groom. The microphone is removed immediately after the ceremony to allow the couple their privacy. If available, Lucas Smith Wedding Films will also plug directly in to the P.A. system at the ceremony venue.

How long will my edited video and music video last?

The ceremony will last as long on DVD as it did in reality, usually 30-45 minutes. The music video lasts as long as the selected song (3-5 minutes).

We also have a photographer for our wedding. Will you work well with them?

We will coordinate every shot with the photographer to deliver to you the best wedding video possible.

Do you film destination weddings and do you travel long distances to film weddings?

Yes, we film destination weddings and travel long distances to film weddings. Lucas Smith Wedding Films will travel long distances to help you achieve an incredibly memorable wedding experience. All travel costs will be attached to your final invoice that comes with your edited DVD’s, or in the case of a destination wedding, the responsible parties will purchase all travel and hotel expenses for Lucas Smith Wedding Films videographers.
